First Post: My Goals For the Trip!
Hello and welcome to my travel blog!
Here I'll be sharing about my trip to Japan. I'll be visiting Tokyo and Kyoto in a couple weeks to explore Japanese culture through graphic design.
The plan is to spend around 5 days in Tokyo and 3 in Kyoto. I have a packed itinerary, from visiting graphic design museums in Kyoto to exploring graphic design in daily life in the streets of Harajuku. I have to say I'm most excited about the ice cream vending machines they have in Japan...
I hope to gain inspiration for my own graphic design work from the highly detail and presentation oriented culture, the hub of amazing animation and manga, the unique color palette, and the historic temples and shrines in Japan.
